Northumberland honey.
Straight from our hives.
Pure, local honey produced by our bees across three Northumberland farms.
More than 100 hives. Millions of bees. Two slightly obsessive beekeepers.
From our hives to your table
3Farm Honey is an independent Northumberland honey producer run by beekeepers Dave and Steven.
We look after more than 100 beehives across three Northumberland farms, producing local honey from the flowers, hedgerows and countryside surrounding our apiaries. We manage the bees, harvest the crop and jar the honey ourselves.
No grand factory. No anonymous imported blends. Just brilliant Northumberland honey and a beekeeping hobby that got slightly out of hand.
Our honey
Runny Northumberland Honey
340g · £7 + delivery
Our classic summer honey, collected by our bees from the Northumberland countryside. Naturally sweet, beautifully golden and with a flavour that changes subtly with the season.
Cut Comb Honey
£10 + delivery
Honey doesn’t get much closer to the hive than this. Pure honey still sealed inside the beeswax comb, exactly as the bees made it — cut straight from the frame and ready to eat.
5kg Northumberland Honey
£55 · Trade
For restaurants, hotels, cafés, bakeries and food producers looking for genuinely local Northumberland honey. Multi-tub pricing available on application.
Local honey really is local
Our bees live here. Our apiaries are situated across three Northumberland farms, surrounded by fields, trees, hedgerows and wildflowers that provide forage throughout the season.
Different apiaries. Different seasons. Different flowers.
Real honey isn’t supposed to be identical.
A hobby that got slightly out of control
We’re Dave & Steven — beekeepers, climbing enthusiasts and the people behind 3Farm Honey.
What started with a few bees became a few hives. Then quite a few hives.
Today we look after more than 100 colonies across Northumberland and our ambition is pretty simple: put millions more bees into the air every summer.
Along the way, they happen to make some rather good honey.
